Poppy
One of the first ten pieces I created in my Hayes Barton studio, Poppy is part of my Capsule Collection—a series that marked the beginning of my return to art.
This one started with a simple line drawing. The poppy came after.
I wanted to place something soft and alive over the mouth—part symbol, part surprise.
It felt like a way to say something without using words.
There’s stillness in her face, but the flower does the talking.
Medium: Charcoal, Marker, and Mixed Media
Print on Paper / Reproduction
Unframed Print Sizes:
5” x 7” — $24
8” x 10” — $30
11” x 14” — $36
16” x 20” — $48
18” x 24” — $60
Small sizes ship in a flat-pack envelope. Larger sizes ship rolled in a protective tube.
Framing available upon request.
