Heather Jennings Lifestyle is a Raleigh-based multidisciplinary creative studio blending art, astrology, poetry, and trauma-informed design to create spaces and experiences that support healing, inspire, and reflect your inner world. Led by artist and designer Heather Jennings, we offer original artwork, custom illustrations, and intuitive interiors that prioritize beauty, story, and emotional wellbeing.

Blackwell & Jennings designs healthcare and wellness spaces for people at their most vulnerable. Every patient, every client in every community deserves to feel safe the moment they walk in. Heather's award-winning studio has earned recognition for its trauma-informed healthcare interiors, designing for mission-driven organizations across the South. What sets the work apart is rare: the designer is also the artist, as well as a cancer survivor who has lived on the other side of these rooms. Heather understands more than most what a healing space needs, and her empathy and care show in every space she designs.

This one goes all the way back to when I studied fashion illustration in London. We were taught to move fast, stay loose, and always capture the energy of the garment.
I remember how much I loved the drape of the fabric, the lines of her body, the slight lean in her posture. She’s all elegance, with just a hint of rebellion.
I almost forgot about this piece—but when I found it again, it felt just as alive as the day I drew it.

This one started as a selfie. I was standing in front of the mirror, hips tilted…messy, undone, but in my body.
It became something else when I painted it. The curves, the flush in the cheeks (and everywhere else), the camera held casually in hand. It’s sexy without trying to be.
There’s a rawness here that I love. A looseness. Like a breath exhaled.
