This one goes all the way back to when I studied fashion illustration in London. We were taught to move fast, stay loose, and always capture the energy of the garment.
I remember how much I loved the drape of the fabric, the lines of her body, the slight lean in her posture. She’s all elegance, with just a hint of rebellion.
I almost forgot about this piece—but when I found it again, it felt just as alive as the day I drew it.

This one started as a selfie. I was standing in front of the mirror, hips tilted…messy, undone, but in my body.
It became something else when I painted it. The curves, the flush in the cheeks (and everywhere else), the camera held casually in hand. It’s sexy without trying to be.
There’s a rawness here that I love. A looseness. Like a breath exhaled.
