As with many of my illustrations, Made Her Wait came to me quickly.
It’s a woman leaning forward—elbows on knees, thoughts somewhere else.
This is a posture I’ve seen often. The kind women fall into when they’re contemplating something deeply… or maybe nothing at all.
In fashion illustration, this kind of quick sketch is called a croquis. It’s loose, fast, full of motion.
There’s energy here, but also a kind of rawness. A moment held—mid-thought, mid-pause, mid-something.
She’s not just waiting. She’s processing.
